Events of 2020 saw many of us working from home, with figures backed up by a recent survey from the ONS. Once the initial joy at the reduced cost of commuting had passed, many realised that the money they saved on travel cards was being spent instead on their fuel bills.

Knowing you’re up to date can also make it easier to relax if or when you go on holiday yourself.
The social media experts at Get Ahead have spent a lot of time discussing how much social media scheduling tools cost, and whether they’re worth paying for. Some cost more than others, but this usually reflects how well they perform and their different capabilities. If we sign up to the cheapest platform but it doesn’t do as much as we need it to, we have thrown our money away. But if we signed up to a more expensive one and see a positive difference, we’ve made a worthwhile investment which is good value for money.

While many of us were glad to be able to work without interruptions again, getting back to normal after lockdown is still an upheaval for us all. Fortunately, by being mindful of the change and embracing the new opportunities it brings, owners of “non-essential” businesses can get ready for reopening in April or May and have the successful summer they’ve been hoping for.
