A hybrid conference or meeting is one which is held both in person and virtually. More conference organisers are choosing this approach since the pandemic showed us all the possibilities of remote and hybrid working. Get Ahead have been offering Zoom services since the 2020 lockdown, continually refining our approaches to provide a streamlined service and successful outcomes.
Let’s take a closer look….
As we embark upon England’s second lockdown, it’s great to see how many businesses have been able to relaunch (or continue) homeworking, building on everything they learned last time. In these trying times, we’ve seen a material demand for Zoom facilitation, particularly for training sessions. We’ll be honest with you, we’ve had to ramp up our skillset pretty quickly too, but now Get Ahead VA is offering a behind-the-scenes service for online training that we are really proud of.
Because Zoom training facilitation is a new service, we’ve noticed that while some clients know exactly what Zoom challenges they are trying to overcome, others have no idea what aspects of online training they could possibly outsource! In this blog, we break down the elements of online training facilitation to give you a clearer picture of how outsourcing Zoom management and tapping into our Miro expertise could help you.
GetAhead VA’s long-standing client, Shannon, runs a
leadership coaching business. Long before the coronavirus pandemic, she had
arranged an international, in-person, four-day conference with thirty
delegates. When the global crisis threw a spanner in the works, she had no
option but to hold the conference on Zoom instead.
Running a conference on Zoom has different demands from
running one at a standard conference venue. While all the stress of catering
and overnight accommodation disappears, different concerns about internet
connections, hardware, software and real-time tech support present themselves
instead. Shannon needed a virtual conference facilitator and we’re proud to say
she came straight to us. At the time, our experienced VA Jenny Serra didn’t
have direct experience of facilitating Zoom conferences, but she has used Zoom
a lot and is one of our most tech-savvy VAs. She built on her existing skills
and knowledge to deliver exactly what Shannon needed.
