Regional Director for North Hampshire & West Surrey
Who I help
If you’re running a growing business in North Hampshire or West Surrey and the to-do list keeps outgrowing the hours in your week, I help you get it back under control. Maybe you need marketing that actually gets planned and delivered, not just talked about. Maybe it’s the admin, invoicing or process work that keeps slipping because there’s no one dedicated to it. Whatever it is, I match you with the right expert from the Get Ahead team, without the cost or commitment of hiring someone in house.
I also work particularly well with consultants, coaches and marketing agencies who already understand the value of outsourcing. These professionals often bring me in to support both their own business and their end clients, companies looking for effective ways to scale. Acting as an extension of their team, I provide flexible, skilled resources across administration, finance, marketing support and more, so they and their clients can get where they’re going without either of us adding headcount.
My background
I’ve spent over 20 years in commercial, marketing and client relationship roles, including a career in media and IT before joining Get Ahead. That mix gave me a solid commercial head for a business’s real priorities, alongside the people skills to understand what a client actually needs rather than what a service list says they should need. I’ve lived, studied and worked across North Hampshire and West Surrey my whole life, so this isn’t a patch I was assigned, it’s genuinely home ground.
How I work with clients
Getting a client’s brief right matters just as much as the work that follows it. I spend most of my time in that space, between what a client actually needs and the expert who delivers it, since that’s where a good result either happens or doesn’t. My focus is on long-term relationships built on trust, responsiveness and results, not one-off placements.
What to expect
1
Get in touch
Tell me what’s on your plate. Drop me a message or book a short call, whichever suits you better.
2
Let’s talk
I’ll ask about your business, what’s taking up your time, and where you need support. This is about understanding you and your business properly, not ticking boxes.
3
Get matched
I’ll put together the right mix for you, sometimes one expert, sometimes a small team covering a few hours each, whatever fits what you actually need.
My Region
Basingstoke and Guildford are where I’m based day to day, and where I know the business community best. But the patch runs wider than that: Fleet, Farnborough, Woking, Hook, Hartley Wintney, Odiham, Farnham, Tadley, and Alton are all towns I work in regularly, with Andover on the edge of my patch too.
What strikes me most about this area is how strong the local business community is. It’s a mix of globally known names and the smaller organisations that support each other to help the local economy thrive, and everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed. I’m regularly out at Woking Means Business, the B2B Business Expo in Basingstoke, the Surrey Business Expo (spring and autumn), our own Get Connected meetings in Basingstoke and Guildford, and at BiS Networking’s annual event in Guildford.
New clients almost always ask me the same few things before signing up: can I be the one who actually works with them day to day, are our experts UK based, and can they start small and build up from there. The answer to all three is yes, although I might not be the one delivering the work myself, I stay closely involved throughout, making sure the fit is right and the relationship keeps working for you. It’s exactly how most of my long-term clients started.
If you search for me in this area, the one thing I’d want you to find is this: I’m here to connect people, both within the business community through Get Connected, and with the specific expertise that lets them reclaim time, build capacity and grow.
Outside of work
I’m a total foodie! With a mixed heritage I love, love, love to cook, usually with my husband and two 6ft teenage boys as willing taste testers. If a dish gets their seal of approval, then it’s good enough to serve to guests too.
As a people person, I love bringing people together, whether that’s hosting at home or discovering somewhere new to eat. I’m always on the lookout for those hidden gems that serve food that’s actually great rather than just hyped up popular eateries. A few of my favourites are Yamazaki Sushi Bar in Basingstoke for incredible sushi, The Kara in Fleet, Mandira’s Kitchen in the Surrey Hills, and there’s definitely nothing boring about Boring Burger in Guildford!
Of course, all that good food (and the occasional Spicy Margarita, my current cocktail of choice!) means I need to keep active too. You’ll often find me out exploring with my office buddy and sidekick, Max, my smooth-haired Cockerpoo. Whether we’re walking along the Basingstoke Canal in Odiham, wandering around Silchester Roman Fort, or stretching our legs at Crabtree Plantation or Bramshill, we’re happiest outdoors.
If you ever fancy a walk and talk, or have a local food recommendation you think I should try, then I’m here for it.
