Regional Director for Essex & Suffolk

Having built and grown several businesses myself, I understand just how demanding running a business can be. There’s always more to do than time allows, and it’s easy for founders to find themselves caught up in the day-to-day when what they really need is space to focus on the bigger picture.

Before joining Get Ahead, I launched and scaled a number of ventures, including a specialist travel business which I successfully grew and later sold. Those experiences gave me a real appreciation for the challenges that business owners face as they grow, from managing competing priorities to building the right team around them.

As Regional Director for Essex and Suffolk, I work with ambitious business owners who know they need additional capability but don’t necessarily want the cost or commitment of employing full-time staff. My role is to understand what support will make the biggest difference and then connect them with the right Virtual Experts from our wider team. In addition, I work with founders through business and leadership coaching, helping them step back from the operational pressures of the business and build something that is both successful and sustainable. 

I’m also very active in the local business community. I’m a member of both IW2N and ONLE, and I lead a Get Connected networking group, bringing local business owners together to build relationships and support each other’s growth. Alongside this, I volunteer as a mentor for The King’s Trust, supporting young people as they take their first steps into business and employment.
