When & why did you join Get Ahead:
I joined Get Ahead in June 2026 taking the leap into free-lancing, launching my own VA business. I knew I had skills to offer to small business owners who need some help making time in their day, to work on their business rather than just in it. I want to be able to work flexibly, with variety and purpose.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead:
With 20+ years in experience in Operations, I have channelled my skills into project management, gaining qualifications. Most recently I have been running multiple workflows, as part of a central support team, keeping a close watch on adherence to strategy ensuring that deadlines are met balanced with business as usual. My project experience includes change management, internal rollouts, and restructuring, to name a few. I led internal communications and can adjust high level messaging for a variety of audiences ensuring the messaging is consistent.

Plans for the future:
I want to grow my VA business, using my skills, doing what I enjoy supporting leaders in their roles. I pride myself on being hardworking with high levels of integrity, giving my best every time for a client. For balance I will always take time out to run – love it! & I will continue to enjoy hosting and having the home where friends & family can just arrive & relax.
