When & why did you join Get Ahead VA:
I created my VA business early 2022, I quickly heard, whilst networking, the great reputation Get Ahead VA had, and I wanted to be part of that. I joined Get Ahead VA in August 2022.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead VA:
I have been in Account Management, New Business Sales and Customer Success roles within the SaaS space. I sold into NHS, Financial industry, Asset Management and more.
Career highlight to date:
I have two, firstly, being promoted to team lead. This was based on my work that I had done with a new business prospect, onboarding new colleagues to the team, and hitting my targets.
Secondly was when I went beyond for a client. I was new to the organisation, and I reached out to all my customers and sent then an introduction email, stating that I’d be in touch over the next couple of weeks to book in a call. On then call the client was not happy with numerous aspects of their services, the price, the SLA on the support desk, the lack of communication with billing team and they wanted to terminate. After several calls and I rectified their issues, they wanted to continue their contract and, in the end, increased their usage and spend with us.
Plans for the future:
I want to build my own agency within 5 years. I would like to have the opportunity to work and travel with my family, specifically Europe and America.
