When & why did you join Get Ahead:
I was delighted to join Get Ahead after five years of freelancing. I wanted to be part of a team where I could collaborate with other talented professionals while also exploring new business opportunities. Joining Get Ahead felt like the perfect next step – combining the freedom I value with the chance to grow alongside a supportive network.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead:
As a freelancer, I’ve worked with clients across industries including travel, marine, property, hospitality NGOs, etc. Each project gave me not only fresh skills but also fascinating nuggets of insight into how different sectors tick. I love that variety and the constant learning it brings.
Career highlight to date:
A real highlight has been embracing the world of freelancing. It’s been the best decision for me – giving me the chance to wear different ‘hats,’ develop my creativity, and work alongside both inspiring clients and fellow freelancers. That independence and variety has shaped who I am professionally.
Plans for the future:
I’m committed to continuous learning – whether that’s through in-person or online courses and events or keeping on top of new tech developments. My goal is to keep expanding my skills while connecting with other professionals who challenge and inspire me.
