When & why did you join Get Ahead:
I joined Get Ahead in November 2024 having previously worked on a wide range of freelancing projects for businesses and marketing agencies from across the UK over the last nine years.
I love working with business owners and helping them grow their businesses, I also really enjoy the process of working creatively and personal development.
On a daily basis I create content for a wide range of businesses, including my own!
I love brainstorming new ideas for content for my clients and coming up with creative ideas to best represent their brands on social media. I thoroughly enjoy social media content copywriting and creating branding through Canva.
I also enjoy keeping up to date with all the latest social media updates, investing in personal development and learning about business along the way.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead:
I have over three years of professional experience in the Communications and Public Relations industry, working in Media Relations and Internal Communications roles for a wide range of Public Sector organisations across the UK.
Since 2016 I’ve helped over 1000 business owners, from across a variety of commercial sectors, by providing them with bespoke Social Media Management and training services to help then grow their businesses.
Career highlight to date:
Running a successful three-hour social media training workshop for 45 Weight Loss Consultants.
The workshop taught Consultants how to set up successful Facebook advertising campaigns to generate new clients in their local area.
This led to continued work across a four-year period and helped me develop my communication, business development and training skills.
Plans for the future:
Developing myself personally and professionally through new challenges.
Working with more businesses across the UK and beyond, learning more about Digital Marketing and business along the way to aid my future growth and support those I work with.
Also to travel a lot more and gain new life experiences!
