When & why did you join Get Ahead: I joined GetAhead in June 2021. I know GetAhead supports lots of coaches and small business owners and being one myself I thought it would be a great opportunity to both support others in the same boat and at the same time learn from the ones who are ahead of me.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead: I worked in the events industry for over 10 years, my most recent role was as Head of Events for a small company of pubs and cocktail bars in central London but I left in the summer of 2020 to start my own coaching business (after getting a proper certification of course).
Career highlight to date: As a coach I help women recover from toxic relationships and narcissistic abuse. In January 2021 I have launched my own membership (the Warriors Club) to support women in this journey. I bring them together and support them with group coaching (we have different monthly themes we work on) but they also connect with each other and support each other in this recovery journey. Having been there myself I know how isolating and lonely can be this kind of journey, I am so proud to have created a space where women can support each other and feel understood in such a hard time of their lives. I have also created the membership so that women can access high quality support at a reasonable price, I believe that money shouldn’t be in the way of healing. I consider this my best achievement to date, it’s in constant growth and I am so proud to have made this vision a reality.
Plans for the future: I plan to never stop learning, both in terms of coaching skills and as a business owner. I want to qualify as an NLP practitioner by the end of this year, grow my membership and support more women around the world. Getting to support other coaches and small business owners, and assisting them in growing their business makes me feel so proud to not only be able to learn from them but also knowing that my work will help change lives.
