When & why did you join Get Ahead: I joined Get Ahead in January 2026, after taking the leap into the freelance world having been made redundant from my full-time job of 8 years and wanting a fresh start and more flexibility in my working life. I love connecting with new people and Get Ahead was highly recommended, so I am very excited to be part of a great team starting a new chapter as a Virtual Expert.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead: Prior to joining Get Ahead, I worked in various roles across multiple sectors including as a Trainer/Coach at a fundraising company, a Home Move Advisor & Business Movers Consultant in the Energy sector, an Occupational Health Administrator at Public Health England, a Project Co-ordinator & Business Development Co-ordinator for a Leadership & Talent Consultancy and most recently as a Senior Delivery Consultant for an executive recruitment company. In addition to this, I am also a passionate actress having worked across TV, film and theatre.

- Over 8 years’ experience delivering executive and interim recruitment, project coordination and business development within the public and private sectors.
- Built strong, trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders and candidates, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure.
- Recognised for mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues, contributing to improved team performance and retention.
- Played a key role in system and process improvements, including the development of CV formatting and project management tools to enhance delivery efficiency.
Plans for the future: I would love to connect with more people, work with various clients and increase my current skillset through learning and experience, being able to support more people in a creative and efficient way. I hope to grow my network and utilise my expertise. Later down the line, I would also like to be in a position to train, coach and mentor other VAs who perhaps are just starting out on this journey.
