What did you do before you joined Get Ahead:
I joined Get Ahead in February 2023, after starting my own Marketing Consultancy. I was recently a director of a business, helping the MD triple growth, before selling the business to NEC. I soon realised that large corporates weren’t for me and I wanted to freedom back to be agile, help grow businesses and be able to make a difference. Joining Get Ahead has given me the freedom to become my own boss and to work with some amazing SME’s around the UK.
Career highlight to date:
I ran a campaign for International Control Room Week on social media. The work involved everything from the website, campaign messaging, email campaigns, social media scripts and engagement and the sourcing and fulfilment of the materials. The highlight came on the first day, when we had created such a buzz with our target audience that the hashtag was trending above Harry and Megan.
Plans for the future:
To continue to support SME businesses and help them grow – there’s no better feeling. Also to build the Be Brand to be a company where people want to join and bring their whole selves. Where we support parents and diversity in the workplace, do great work and have fun whilst doing it.
