When & why did you join Get Ahead VA: I like to help people.Get Ahead seem to fit my idea of a company. They are highly focused on delivering a quality service for the client. In this day and age of technology and automation, people forget how important this is.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead VA: I spent the last 8 years in a bank. I was the main liaison for dealing with Management Information / Data requests from all employees bank wide. My function was to ascertain exactly what the client was looking for and then work with my own team to provide a suitable solution. Recently I became self employed running my own VA business.
Career highlight to date: Two things here , I designed the banks ‚ÄòShould Cost Model’ in Excel, which dynamically estimates the acceptable benchmark cost of the organisation’s key outsourcing contracts and directly impacted high level business strategic decisions. Secondly has to be finally taking the plunge to go self employed!
Plans for the future: My own ambition is simply to become self sufficient doing what I do best – assisting other businesses and business owners.
