When & why did you join Get Ahead:
Having secured a part time EA role within the exciting world of film and advertising, I felt energised to put my skills and experience to effective use during the available hours in my working week. The flexibility and balance Get Ahead offers is perfect for me to be able to carry on enjoying my part time role whilst meaningfully contributing to wide ranging companies and sectors – whilst all the while expanding my skill set!
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead:
I currently work 22.5 hours a week for a film production company as an EA and Production Assistant and before that I worked full time as an EA and Admin Coordinator for Joules Clothing
Career highlight to date:
As an EA and Admin coordinator at Joules, I gained the responsibility of hiring and managing a part-time assistant. The collaborative and supportive nature of our team not only provided me with a new skill set but ushered in a new and exciting facet to being in an administrative role. The reputation of our team to the wider department was a great thrill and accomplishment for myself and my assistant. So much so that we became firm friends which only bettered our work output.
Plans for the future:
I hope to continue to provide top quality support to an array of people and teams whilst making a few friends along the way 🙂
