I am experienced in Business Development and Account Management, I have worked in the Chemical and Telecommunications Manufacturing industry to help achieve their business growth objectives by implement lead generation strategies such as sales pipeline management, conducting research, email campaigns, Telemarketing activities such as warm and cold calling.
When & why did you join Get Ahead VA:
I joined Get Ahead VA in November 2020, I have recently started as a freelancer and have a small client base. Working with getting Ahead VA has increased my client base and offers a great support network.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead VA:
I worked as a Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator for the last 2 years as this gave me the flexibility to have a better family/work-life balance, before that I worked as an Account Manager for 5 years and 2 years as a Business Development Manager within the Chemicals Industry. With over 15 years of Sales experience, I have generated leads in different industries such as Plant Hire, Facilities Management, Damage Restoration, Agricultural, Mining to name a few.
Career highlight to date:
Definitely taking the plunge and setting up my own freelance business has got to be one of the best decisions I have made in my career so far.
Plans for the future:
I have been fortunate enough to have travelled to different places in Europe and the US to participate in company exhibitions
