When & why did you join Get Ahead VA:
I joined Get Ahead VA after realising how efficiently I can work from home organising my own time and getting a lot done without distractions. After having travelled many years, I prefer to keep things new & fresh and freelancing gives me this opportunity to work with different clients and meet many interesting people.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead VA:
I was an Executive Assistant for loss adjusters for high net worth insurance claims. Before this, I had the opportunity to work in Europe, the Middle East, USA and Asia in various PA & administrative roles.
Career highlight to date:
I liked what I learnt in the insurance business. I also enjoyed setting up businesses in China and in Germany, where I lead the marketing and commercial aspects of the companies. This also allowed me to gain a good understanding of the intricacies of working with people and organisations of different cultures.
Plans for the future:
I would like to continue developing my knowledge, getting to know my new clients and to keep on evolving by staying up to date in more efficient ways to get the best results. I am intrigued to develop my skills with varied clients and in different sectors.
