When & why did you join Get Ahead VA:
I joined Get Ahead VA in January 2021 as I wanted to find a role that would bring me new challenges every day and allow me to develop my skills with varied clients and sectors. Working from home is also a huge benefit for me as it will give me a lot more flexibility when I start building a familiy.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead VA:
I graduated from a Master’s in Digital Communications & Marketing in July 2019 and since then I have worked as a freelance in Digital Marketing for various companies. I covered many areas of Marketing such as social media management, content creation (visuals, videos, marketing materials, etc.), website management, event planning, paid ads… No days were the same!
Career highlight to date:
My proudest career moment was when I organised a University event. It was extremely challenging and rewarding to be involved in the whole process of planning, finding the venue, handling the budget, etc. Seeing everything go to plan, people enjoying themselves and giving compliments gave me a great sense of accomplishment.
Plans for the future:
Workwise, I am looking forward to my journey as a VA, helping as many clients as possible achieve their goals. Personally, I hope I can travel again soon, and I am thinking about getting a house and starting a family!
