Virtual Assistant to Virtual Business Owner
Carrie joined our team as a virtual assistant in 2016, but when the opportunity came up to take on her own franchise Carrie jumped at the chance. Carrie says “I decided to become a Get Ahead franchisee as I wanted to expand my own business. The franchise gives me the support, knowledge and insight of a successful business owner who has been there done that, allowing me to focus on tried and tested methods for growing my business. I like the fact that although I am managing my own business and I am responsible for the day to day running of it, I still have a team of people around me. They are not just there for business support but also for a quick catch up with a friendly, familiar face.”
Reading, Basingstoke, Newbury and beyond
Carrie is looking forward to growing the Get Ahead VA brand in her local area of Reading, Basingstoke and Newbury through networking. She is also busy recruiting new virtual assistants to work in her team. Carrie says: “I have already welcomed a marketing specialist and an administration specialist on board so we are ready to provide first class services for our clients.”

According to the latest BFA/Natwest Franchise survey there are 901 franchisor brands operating in the UK with 621,000 people employed in franchising.
