At Get Ahead VA we are always on the lookout for tools and techniques that makes our lives easier – for working from home, working remotely and running our business. One tool we came across recently that we were really impressed with is EchoSign from Adobe.
When signing up a new client we have always completed contracts through the post before – the traditional way to ensure that you get a binding agreement. However in these days of online banking and 4G it did seem a bit antiquated! So we were delighted when a contact recommended EchoSign as an online, but still legally binding way of signing contracts.
We signed up for a free 30 day trial of the service and were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to upload the document we needed signing and send it through to the client. The client was then able to slot in their signature and it is all legally binding. It was so much quicker and more efficient! After everybody signed the document, EchoSign automatically emailed a PDF copy to both of us and stored a backup copy in our EchoSign account, which is really useful. We have now signed up for Acrobat XI as we know we will be using the EchoSign service a lot as we welcome new clients and VAs on board over the coming months.
