We are delighted to have been selected as a finalist for the SME Surrey Business awards in the Waytime Technologies Business of the Year <50 category.
The SME Surrey Business Awards are a sought-after accolade of achievement, an endorsement of hard-work, determination and enterprise in business. Sponsored by the University of Surrey Surrey Business School there are seventeen categories available in this year’s awards. Businesses both large and small, old and new will be recognised alongside not for profit organisations as well as individual business leaders and employees.
We have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Waytime Technologies Business of the Year <50 category. This award will go to the business that shows outstanding initiative, boldness and imagination as well as sound management practices.
Our Founder and CEO Rebecca Newenham said: “We are delighted to have been selected as a finalist for these regional business awards. In our submission we demonstrated the exceptional growth we have seen over the last 12 months thanks to our geographical expansion. We have also welcomed new virtual assistants on board as we expand our capability to deliver flexible and dependable marketing and business support services for SMEs across the UK.”
A night of celebrations
The high-profile awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday 30th November at Epsom Racecourse with a Gala Black Tie Dinner. Over 300 guests from across Surrey are expected at attend to celebrate the achievements of companies in the thriving Surrey business region. Rebecca says: “We are looking forward to the awards evening and the chance to meet lots of other exceptional Surrey businesses. We will be keeping our fingers crossed for a win and wishing good luck to all the other finalists.”
This latest awards success comes on the back of a triumphant twelve months during which we have secured third place in the iHubbub Best Home Business Awards, won ex BBC Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis’ prestigious Small Business Sunday #SBS award and been shortlisted for the mumandworking awards Flexible Business of the Year award for the third year running. The mumandworking awards ceremony took place recently on 11th October in London and proved to be a memorable evening. Rebecca said: “The night was filled with inspiring stories from individuals and companies who are embracing flexible working just as we do and proving that it works. We were proud to be nominated alongside such incredible businesses.”
