31st August – 6th September 2015 is Small Business Advice Week which promises to be packed with useful information for anyone running, or thinking about starting, an SME.
It is the 11th year, Small Business Advice Week was conceived to connect small businesses with industry leaders to learn from best practise. Over the years it has grown in significance and this year offers a whole host of activities and advice across their website, social media, broadcast radio and beyond. On radio alone, over 130 stations are expected to be involved, reaching millions of people. There are already a range of useful interviews on www.smallbusinessadviceweek.co.uk including topics such as recruitment and development, ISO accreditation and exporting, with more expected to be added over the coming weeks.
The best way to follow the activities is likely to be through Twitter @SmallBizAdvWeek and the hashtag #SBAW. All sorts of businesses will be getting involved to offer free advice for small businesses so think about any areas you might need support on and keep an eye out for the relevant experts. As a small business yourself, simply using the hashtag #SBAW and participating could help you to raise awareness of your business and bring in new clients.
Enabling small businesses to grow and reach their potential is exactly what we at Get Ahead VA are proud to do. From will writers to window cleaners, financial consultants to fashion designers, all of our clients recognise the value of outsourcing, passing onto others tasks that either they lack skills in, or tasks that drain their valuable time.
Our team of highly experienced VAs take on the tasks you don’t have time to do, don’t have the skills to do or simply don’t want to do.
