Last week we were delighted to attend the exclusive Working Mums Top Employer Awards ceremony in London. The annual Top Employer Awards celebrate best practice in smart working and advancing women in the workplace, recognising employers both big and small who have embraced the business benefits of flexible working and have been proactive in seeking to recruit and retain talented staff.
We were delighted to have been selected as a finalist in the Talent Attraction Award for organisations which can demonstrate that their recruitment process openly promotes flexible working. Flexibility is at the very heart of Get Ahead VA, and openly recruiting Virtual Assistants on a flexible working basis allows us to select some of the most talented people in a wide variety of business areas including PR & Marketing, Finance, Legal, Customer Service & Administration. The Awards took place at London's Soho Hotel and included a keynote address by Wendy Hallett, MBE, Founder and MD of Hallett Retail, networking sessions and a Q & A with a panel of experts. With 27 employers represented across the eight categories it was a busy evening with some shining examples of flexible working.
