What situation was your business in when you came to Get Ahead VA?
Following a recent project, I had made an agreement with a local Business Office space company to advertise my services to their clients. I needed some new marketing materials to give to them for distribution.
What problems were you experiencing?
I was feeling stretched too thin and wanted someone to take the burden off my shoulders to pull together the flyers and posters I needed. I was looking for someone with creative flair as well as the technical knowhow to make the most of this opportunity for me.
What might have happened if you hadn’t taken any action?
It would have taken me longer to get around to producing the flyers and I wouldn’t have done such a good job. It would also have taken my focus away from the consulting work I do and I need to be focused and very present when I do that work – that has to be my priority.
Why did you choose a VA and not a part time member of staff?
As I don’t really have ongoing requirements for design it made much more sense to use a VA for this project. This enabled me to hand over the design work to the experts and get back to what I do best – consulting for my clients.
How did Get Ahead VA solve the problem for you?
Get Ahead VA were great. I simply emailed the things I definitely needed in the flyer design (pictures, logos) etc and left the team to their creative devices to complete the rest of the design. They sent me a few options to review and made any updates I needed speedily. It was a delightfully pain-free process!
