7 Actions To Launch A Successful Virtual Assistant Business

We attended a fantastic event recently run by Virtual Assistance expert Carmen MacDougall entitled ‘7 Top Actions to Take When Launching and Growing Your VA Business’. We wanted to experience the event first hand as we are delighted to announce that Get Ahead VA founder Rebecca Newenham is joining forces with other well-known VAs to roll out VA training to a nationwide audience, creating exceptional VAs through delivering the VA Coaching & Training Company (VACT) VA Mastery Programme

Back by popular demand, the Taster Day took place in London and was an inspiring event for anyone considering a career as a VA. The training seminar gave a full insight into what to consider and which tools you need to build the first level foundation of a VA business.

The course covered a variety of topics including the ‘7 Top Actions to Take When Launching and Growing Your VA Business’ and the ‘7 Biggest Mistakes Many PAs Make When Becoming a VA and How to Avoid Them’. The workshop included useful sessions on the skills and experience VAs need, the practicalities of working virtually, contingency plans for challenges they may have to address, finances including what to charge and an introduction to marketing.

There was a great atmosphere of collaboration on the course and it was really interesting to meet lots of budding virtual assistants from a variety of business backgrounds. The attendance was evidence that virtual assistance continues to grow as an industry within the UK as more and more business realise that using a VA can provide the flexible assistance they need which fits our 21st century, digital economy.

If you know any PAs that are looking to train as VAs then Rebecca would be delighted to support them on their exciting journey. Rebecca will be delivering the VACT VA Mastery accredited course in Surrey & Sussex and taster days are already planned for Guildford (Surrey) on Thursday 23rd October and Crawley (East Sussex) on Thursday 6th November.
